Corporate identity

Updating the corporate identity of a leading Pan-European assets management company.

The first step in the update process was the simplification and modernisation of the Redevco logo. We cleaned a bit the icon, changed the word mark to a contemporary sans-serif and made the colour more saturated and deep.

Layout system

The layout of the communication materials is based on a square grid. The idea of the margin is to serve as a passepartout. There margins on every side of the format: two of the sides use 1x grid unit and the other two sides use 2x grid units.

The blocks are a very important element of the layout and serve as container for titles and highlights.

The main blue block is the holder of the heading while the smaller blocks, in blue, green, grey or yellow are for subheadings and secondary level information, such as intro texts.

The overlapping of the blocks produces a horizontal bar, coloured in one of the secondary colous.

Typography

Our selection of typography had the intention to give Redevco a more lifestyle look and feel, based on their intention to enter the residential market. We selected a glamorous serif with high contrast between stems and bars for titles and functional minimalistic workhorse sans-serif for body texts.

Color scheme

Illustrations

Redevco’s illustration style is clean, simple and elegant, and while at first look is pretty flat, the juxtaposition of elements gives it depth and dimension.

With its visual connection to the sans-serif corporate typeface and simplistic structure, it’s a perfect tool for telling Redevco’s stories in a clear manner.

Photography

Redevco’s photography universe consists of three levels: people’s emotional experiences, the details of our assets and the context of our locations.

People

Redevco is in the business of creating vibrant places where people like to be, so we want to show what they are experiencing. We show that through capturing people’s emotions often in close-up.

Real Estate

Redevco’s work represents their professionalism and quality standards. We show that by visualising their assets in relation to people or connected to the environment they are located at.

Cities

Cities are Redevco’s playground and they aim to make them better places to live, work and play. Here we show overview images of people’s activities in the city, based on these three categories.

Corporate story

Giving Redevco the ability to present their story well was of enormous importance, so we designed a robust and strong corporate slide deck that gets the message across in an impactful way.

Corporate social responsibility report

The social responsibility report is a valuable publication for Redevco, documenting and sharing their huge efforts in reducing the carbon footprint of their assets. The serif display typeface, generous use of white space and integration of transparencies, helped us to underline the matter at hand in strong and positive way.

Marketing materials

In marketing materials we decided to give prominence to photography, in combination with the dark blue colour. Overall try to keep the layout with a lot of white, so it would feel light and open.

Corporate stationary

In general, the corporate stationary materials are white and clean. Where possible, as the back of the business cards, we used the main highlight dark blue colour with Redevco’s mission statement.

Identity manual

Finally, we put together an identity manual, to assure the consistency and focus of the Redevco brand in the long run and to provide third parties with the right tools to work with.
