A place, a city is hardly defined by a single concept: it has many sides that overlap and influence each other. If we borrow from the visual language of archeology, we can clearly imagine each aspect of a city as a layer that carries it’s own meaning and co-works to create the experience of a place.
In our work for Redevco’s pitch book we aimed at bringing the complex relations forward that create this experience and Redevco’s role in the process. Merely limited by the commercial use of their buildings, Redevco’s approach to real estate management also considers the cultural and historical context of the building.
This resulting in us creating a book which represent layers physically, by deploying variety of different paper sizes and types, and conceptually, by mixing images of people's experience with architectural photography.
